Fiberon ASA-CF08 Black Filament 1.75mm 500g

The Polymaker Fiberon ASA-CF08 is a carbon-fiber-reinforced ASA filament with an eight percent carbon fiber content, specially developed for demanding outdoor applications. It combines the excellent UV and weather resistance of ASA with the high stiffness and dimensional stability of carbon fiber reinforcement. This significantly reduces warping and increases mechanical strength. With a flexural strength of 69.1 MPa and a tensile strength of 43.5 MPa, the material is ideal for precise, load-bearing components. The heat deflection temperature of 103 °C at 0.45 MPa allows use under direct sunlight without deformation. The matte, professional surface effectively conceals layer lines, giving the components a high-quality appearance. The filament is capable of high-speed printing up to 350 mm/s and can be processed without a heated chamber. A hardened nozzle is essential due to the abrasive carbon fiber content. Like all ASA filaments, this material releases volatile organic compounds during printing, so good ventilation or a housing with filtration is recommended.
