Fiberon PETG-rCF08 Black Filament 1.75mm 500g

The Polymaker Fiberon PETG-rCF08 is a sustainable composite filament made from PETG, reinforced with eight percent recycled carbon fiber. It combines the easy processing and balanced properties of PETG with the increased stiffness and professional matte finish of carbon fiber filaments. As an entry-level model in the Fiberon Composite series, it offers an optimal balance of performance and price. The material is excellent for rapid prototypes with high dimensional accuracy and supports printing speeds up to 300 mm/s. The recycled carbon fiber provides improved mechanical properties with a tensile strength of 59.8 MPa and a flexural strength of 94.6 MPa. The matte surface structure hides layer lines and gives the prints a professional appearance. Thanks to the low warping tendency and excellent layer adhesion of PETG, the filament can be processed on most FDM printers without a heated chamber. The printing temperature ranges between 240 and 270 °C with a bed temperature of 60 to 70 °C. A hardened nozzle is recommended as recycled carbon fibers are also abrasive. The filament should be stored dry.
