PolyLite ASA Black Filament 1.75mm 1Kg
The Polymaker PolyLite ASA is a weather-resistant filament based on acrylonitrile styrene acrylate, specially developed for outdoor use. The material offers excellent UV resistance with a color difference of less than ΔE 2.5 after two years of natural outdoor weathering. The mechanical properties are comparable to ABS, with ASA having significantly higher weather resistance. The tensile strength is 43.8 MPa in the XY direction and the heat distortion temperature is 100 °C (HDT at 1.8 MPa). The filament is printed at nozzle temperatures of 240 to 260 °C and bed temperatures of 75 to 95 °C, with a closed build chamber recommended to minimize warping. The matte surface reduces visible layer lines and gives printed parts a professional appearance. Printed parts can be finished by wet sanding or chemical smoothing with acetone. The tight diameter tolerance of ±0.03 mm ensures consistent extrusion. The glass transition temperature is 98 °C and the Vicat softening temperature is 105 °C. Prior to printing, drying at 70 °C for six to seven hours is recommended if the material has absorbed moisture.
