Fiberon PET-CF17 Black Filament 1.75mm 500g

The Polymaker Fiberon PET-CF17 is a carbon fiber reinforced PET filament with 17 percent carbon fiber content, specifically developed for demanding technical applications. The material impresses with high rigidity, excellent dimensional stability, and very good heat resistance. A significant advantage over nylon-based carbon fiber filaments is the low moisture sensitivity, ensuring that the mechanical properties remain stable even at higher humidity. After annealing, PET-CF17 achieves a heat deflection temperature of up to 148 °C at 0.45 MPa. With a modulus of elasticity of 5481 MPa and a flexural strength of 109 MPa, the filament is ideal for functional prototypes and durable end-use parts. Processing is possible on most FDM printers with an all-metal hotend, without requiring a heated chamber.
