Carbon Tube ø5xØ7mm 1m

This is a carbon fiber CFK tube with a fiber content of 63%. The tube is pultruded (extruded). This manufacturing process arranges the fibers unidirectionally, in the longitudinal direction. This achieves a high fiber content, but makes the tubes susceptible to shear loads. Therefore, we recommend using a diamond cutting disc or saw to cut it, not side cutters. Carbon has excellent mechanical and thermal properties, making it perfect for applications where stability and lightness are needed. The surface is slightly porous and can be excellently glued to 3D printed workpieces. This allows for the construction of light, complex and stable frameworks, for example for model building.
