Carbon Tube ø6xØ8mm 1m

This is a carbon fiber CFRP tube with a fiber content of 63%. The tube is pultruded (drawn). With this manufacturing process the fibers are arranged unidirectionally, in the longitudinal direction. This achieves a high fiber content, but the tubes are susceptible to shear loads. Therefore, we recommend you to use a diamond cutting disc or saw for cutting and not a side cutter. Carbon has excellent mechanical and thermal properties, and is perfect for applications that require stability and lightness. The surface is slightly porous and can be easily bonded with 3D-printed parts. In this way, lightweight, complex and stable scaffolding can be constructed, for example, for model making.
