Carbon Tube ø10xØ12mm 1m

This is a carbon fiber CFK tube with a fiber content of 63%. The tube is pultruded. Due to this manufacturing process, the fibers are unidirectional, arranged in a longitudinal direction. This achieves a high fiber content, but the tubes are vulnerable to shear stress. Therefore, we recommend that you use a diamond cutting disc or saw and not side-cutters for cutting. Carbon has excellent mechanical and thermal properties, and is perfect for applications that require stability and lightness. The surface is slightly porous and can be glued with 3D-printed parts. This way, lightweight, complex and stable frames can be constructed, for example for model building.
