Carbon Tube ø4xØ6mm 1m

This is a carbon fiber CFK tube with a fiber content of 63%. The tube is pultruded. This manufacturing process arranges the fibers unidirectionally, in the longitudinal direction. This allows a high fiber content, but the tubes are vulnerable to shear loads. Therefore, we recommend using a diamond cutting disc or saw for cutting, not side cutters. Carbon has excellent mechanical and thermal properties, and is perfect for applications where stability and lightness are needed. The surface is slightly porous and can be excellently bonded with 3D printed parts. This allows lightweight, complex and stable frameworks to be constructed for model building, for example.
