Carbon Round Rod Ø4mm 1m

This is a carbon fiber CFRP round bar with a fiber content of 63%. The bar is pultruded (extruded). This manufacturing process arranges the fibers unidirectionally, in the longitudinal direction. This achieves a high fiber content, but the bars are susceptible to shear stresses. Therefore, we recommend that you use a diamond cutting disc or saw to cut it, not a pair of side cutters. Carbon has excellent mechanical and thermal properties, making it perfect for applications that require both stability and lightweight. The surface is slightly porous and can be perfectly bonded with 3D print parts. This allows light, complex, and stable structures to be built, for example, for model construction.
