Carbon round rod Ø1mm 1m

This is a carbon fiber CFK round rod with a fiber content of 63%. The rod is pultruded (strand-drawn). Through this manufacturing process, the fibers are unidirectional and arranged longitudinally. This achieves a high fiber content, but the rods are susceptible to shear loads. Therefore, for cutting, we recommend you use a diamond cutting disc or saw, not a side cutter. Carbon has excellent mechanical and thermal properties, and is perfect for applications where stability and lightness are required. The surface is slightly porous and can be bonded super well with 3D printed workpieces. Thus, light, complex, and stable scaffolding can be constructed, for example, for model building.
