Carbon Round Rod Ø2mm 1m

This is a carbon fiber CFK round rod with a fiber content of 63%. The rod is pultruded. Through this manufacturing process, the fibers are unidirectional, arranged in the longitudinal direction. This achieves a high fiber content, but the rods are susceptible to shear loads. Therefore, for cutting, we recommend using a diamond cutting disc or saw rather than side cutters. Carbon has excellent mechanical and thermal properties and is perfect for applications where stability and lightness are needed. The surface is slightly porous and can be easily bonded with 3D printed parts. This allows the construction of light, complex, and stable structures, such as for model making.
