This Li-Ion battery combines the proven Panasonic NCR18650GA cell (3300 mAh nominal capacity, typically 3450 mAh) with an integrated PCM protection circuit and is delivered fully assembled in the battery compartment with JST-PH 2.0 connector (2 mm). This allows it to be operated directly on boards with LiPo connection – such as ESP32 boards with charging electronics or SparkFun boards. The protection circuit protects the battery against overcharging, deep discharge, overcurrent, and short circuit. Always compare the plug polarity with the target board before connecting for the first time – the layout is not identical among all manufacturers.
