DFRobot Solar Power Manager 5V 1A
The DFRobot Solar Power Manager series is designed for IoT projects where high efficiency is required. The DFRobot Solar Power Manager 5V is a small, high-efficiency solar power management module designed for 5V solar panels. The module features an MPPT function (Maximum Power Point Tracking) that maximizes the efficiency of the solar panel. The MPPT can maximize the conversion efficiency of solar energy even in weak sunlight.
The module can charge your 3.7V lithium battery with up to 900mA charging current. The installed high-efficiency DC-DC voltage converter, which can provide you with 5V 1A, can be controlled via a jumper or an output from your microcontroller. For example, this allows you to switch on an irrigation pump via the USB connection by controlling the EN_VOUT pin with an ESP32 Firebeetle. The module also has various protection features for the battery, solar panel, and power, significantly improving the stability and safety of your solar projects. The module is suitable for 3.7V Lipo batteries with and without protective electronics.
