Gravity Flow Sensor 1/8 Inch
The Gravity 1/8 inch water flow sensor from DFRobot measures the speed of a liquid flowing through it. The YF-S201 water flow sensor consists of a plastic valve body, a flow rotor, and a Hall effect sensor. It is normally used at the inlet to detect the flow rate. When liquid flows through the sensor, a magnetic rotor rotates and the speed of rotation changes with the flow rate. The Hall effect sensor then outputs a pulse width signal. Connect the sensor to a microcontroller and you can monitor multiple devices, such as a coffee machine, sprinkler, or the water cooling in a laser and adjust the water flow according to your needs!

- Avoid sensor contact with corrosive chemicals
- The sensor must be installed vertically, not tilted more than 5 degrees.
- The temperature of the liquid should be below 100°C to prevent damage to the sensor.
