Gravity Digital Peristaltic Pump / Hose Pump
The Peristaltic Pump from DFRobot has a PPM motor driver integrated into the tube pump. The dosing pump is easily connected to a microcontroller via the DFRobot Gravity Interface. The control signal is compatible with standard servo motors, so you can use the pump with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, micro: bit and other types of microcontrollers to control their direction and flow rate. Tube pumps are a type of displacement pump used for conveying small amounts of liquid. The liquid is contained in a flexible tube that is built into a centrifugal pump housing. As the rotor continuously rotates, the fluid in the tube is compressed and conveyed to the other side. This way, the liquid flow can be easily and precisely controlled. As a type of dosing pump, the tube pump can be conveniently used for accurate conveyance of liquids. There are a variety of application scenarios, such as scientific experiments, hydroponics, drip irrigation, tropical fish farming, etc.
Info: Since the motor's power consumption (approx. 5W) is somewhat high, it is better to connect an external power supply to the microcontroller, the USB port can only provide 2.5W.
