SW3L-LB DN15 G1/2 LoRaWAN Flow Sensor 868MHz

The SW3L-LB from Dragino is a LoRaWAN flow sensor specifically designed for monitoring water consumption in buildings. It sends data to the IoT server every 20 minutes on water flow. The sensor can also detect the status of the water flow and send alarm messages to avoid water wastage, as can occur with defective toilets. This sturdy sensor node, packed in a weatherproof housing, is ideal for outdoor use and is powered by an 8500mA Li/SOCl2 battery, ensuring a long operating time. The SW3L-LB not only serves as a simple sensor node, but has been specifically designed to facilitate the rapid implementation of industrial LoRa and IoT applications. The wireless part of the node is based on the SX1262, which allows for the transmission of data over very long distances at low data rates. This ensures exceptionally wide range, high interference resistance, and optimizes power consumption. Equipped with a powerful 48 MHz ARM microcontroller, 256KB flash and 64KB RAM, the SW3L-LB is ready for all types of projects. The SW3L-LB has an integrated BLE module, which allows a convenient configuration of the sensor from your mobile phone. It also supports OTA updates via a private LoRa protocol, which greatly simplifies maintenance. This sensor node is the third generation of the popular SW3L from Dragino and offers a mature LoRaWAN stack as well as application software. You can use the preinstalled software for your IoT projects or adapt the software flexibly to different requirements.

Each sensor is preloaded with a set of unique keys for LoRaWAN registrations. These keys are registered on the local LoRaWAN server and the sensor automatically connects after turning on, if there is network coverage.
