DIAMOND dichtol AM UV-Protection is a ready-to-use, solvent-based polymer system for sealing additively manufactured components with additional UV protection. The sealer protects the printing material and underlying colors from the influence of UV radiation and prevents yellowing and fading. At the same time, it seals the components against various liquids and gases through capillary action. The single-component system does not require mixing and is suitable for all common printing methods and printing materials. Application is done by dipping, brushing, spraying, or injecting, depending on the size and accessibility of the areas to be sealed. Once cured, the seal is colorless and permanently temperature-resistant up to 200 °C.

Properties:

• Ready-to-use, solvent-based single-component system with integrated UV protection, no mixing required
• Infiltration by capillary action seals the component deeply against liquids and gases
• Pore size from 0.1 to 0.5 mm is reliably sealed, suitable for the respective printing method
• Fast curing at room temperature makes oven curing unnecessary
• The temperature resistance of the cured seal is permanently 200 °C
