DIAMOND dichtol AM 1L Sealing fine pores

DIAMOND dichtol AM is a ready-to-use, solvent-based polymer system for sealing additively manufactured components. The sealant penetrates the material through capillary action and is particularly suitable for fine pores with a size of up to 0.1 mm. This allows 3D printed components to be sealed against various liquids and gases and protected from environmental influences. The single-component system requires no mixing and is suitable for all common printing methods and printing materials. Application is carried out by dipping, brushing, spraying or injecting, depending on the size and accessibility of the surfaces to be sealed. After curing, the seal is colorless, permanently temperature-resistant up to 300 °C, and meets the drinking water conformity according to KTW-BWGL of the German Federal Environment Agency. The 1-liter container is sufficient for about 20 m².

Properties:

• Ready-to-use, solvent-based single-component system, requires no mixing and is immediately ready for use
• Infiltration through capillary action seals the component deep into the pores against liquids and gases
• Pore size from 0 to 0.1 mm is reliably sealed, suitable for the respective printing method
• Rapid curing at room temperature makes oven curing unnecessary
