DIAMANT dichtol AM Hydro is a ready-to-use, water-based polymer system for sealing additively manufactured components. Since the sealer is solvent-free and not a hazardous substance, it is considered particularly user-friendly. It penetrates the material through capillary action and seals 3D-printed parts against various liquids and gases. The formulation is suitable for pores with a size of up to 0.2 mm. The single-component system requires no mixing and is suitable for all common printing processes and materials. In its delivered state, the sealer is milky white; after curing, the film becomes colorless and is permanently temperature-resistant up to 130 °C. The 1-liter container is sufficient for approximately 20 m².

Properties:

• Water-based, solvent-free single-component system, not a hazardous substance and thus particularly user-friendly
• Infiltration through capillary action seals the component against liquids and gases deep into the pores
• Pore size from 0 to 0.2 mm is reliably sealed, suitable for the respective printing process
• Quick curing at room temperature makes oven curing unnecessary
