WeMos D1 mini ESP8266 NodeMcu Lua Board

The WeMos D1 mini is a small WiFi board with an ESP8266 (ESP-12 module, marked ESP8266MOD). It can be programmed with the Arduino IDE and connects projects to the internet, for example for IoT applications or data loggers that write their values to a cloud. It is programmed and powered via Micro-USB.

Features:

• Arduino IDE: enter the URL https://arduino.esp8266.com/stable/package_esp8266com_index.json under Preferences in the additional boards manager URLs, install «esp8266» in the boards manager and select the board «LOLIN(WEMOS) D1 R2 & mini»
• Windows 10/11: if the CH340 is detected but the upload stops with PermissionError(13), the installed driver is usually the cause. Completely uninstall the CH340/CH341 driver and reinstall the driver listed under «Documentation»
