WeMos D1 Mini DHT11 Shield

This shield (marked DHT shield) plugs onto an ESP8266 WeMos D1 mini and measures temperature and humidity. The DHT11 is an inexpensive sensor with a digital single-wire interface. It is factory calibrated but does not have a high resolution. The required components are fitted on the shield. The pin headers are not soldered and can be fitted as required.

Features:

• Data pin D4 (GPIO2), uses only one pin
• D4 is also the blue LED of the D1 mini
• Own single-wire protocol, not compatible with Dallas 1-Wire
• Reading at most once per second
• The ESP8266 gets warm: if the shield sits directly above or below the board, this can affect the measurement
• Arduino library «DHT sensor library» in the Library Manager
