Snapmaker U1 Multi-Color 3D Printer 4 Extruder CoreXY

The Snapmaker U1 is a CoreXY 3D printer with four independent extruders and an automatic tool change system called SnapSwap. The four separate print heads eliminate the need for purging and cleaning when changing colors, significantly reducing material consumption. The tool change takes about five seconds and is designed for over a million changeovers. The print volume is 270 × 270 × 270 mm with a maximum print speed of 500 mm/s and an acceleration of 20000 mm/s². The lightweight carbon fiber rails of the X-axis contribute to the high dynamics of the print head. The automatic calibration precisely aligns all four print heads without manual intervention, with an eddy current sensor detecting the toolhead offsets to within 0.04 mm. An integrated 2-megapixel camera allows real-time monitoring of the printing process via Wi-Fi. The printer natively supports PLA, PETG, TPU, and PVA and can additionally process ABS, ASA, PA, and PC with an optional cover. The firmware is based on Klipper and is available as open-source. All functions can be controlled directly on the device via the 3.5-inch touchscreen display. The delivery includes four PLA spools in different colors and a spare hotend.
