Prusa CORE One+ Gen 2

The Prusa CORE One+ (Gen 2) is a fully enclosed 3D printer with CoreXY kinematics, designed for high print quality and speed. The second generation features shorter wait times before printing starts, cleaner prints thanks to an integrated nozzle scraper, and smoother surfaces due to new GT1.5 belts. The build volume measures 250 × 220 × 270 mm in a compact design that requires about 50% less space than a comparable open-frame printer with an enclosure. The actively temperature-controlled chamber reaches up to 55 °C, enabling reliable printing of demanding materials like ASA, PC, or PA. Intelligent chamber ventilation allows the door to stay closed even when printing PLA or PETG. The Nextruder print head features a force sensor for fully automatic first-layer calibration, a 360° cooling system, and a tool-free quick-change nozzle system for nozzle sizes from 0.25 mm to 0.8 mm. The robust steel exoskeleton serves as the structural frame and can be fully disassembled with a screwdriver. The printer supports Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and USB, is compatible with Prusa Connect for remote monitoring, and can operate fully offline. Firmware and CAD files are open-source and available on GitHub. Over 200 pre-configured material profiles are available in PrusaSlicer, and the printer can be expanded with the MMU3 (five filaments) or the INDX tool changer (up to eight filaments).
