Aqara P2 Motion and Light Sensor with Thread Matter

The Aqara P2 is a modern PIR motion and light sensor with Thread support and native integration into Apple Home, Google Home, and other Matter-compatible systems. It accurately detects movements up to 7 meters away at a detection angle of 150° horizontal. Additionally, the sensor measures ambient brightness in real-time, allowing for adaptive light control. The Thread technology ensures particularly stable and energy-efficient communication within a Matter network. With its minimalist, magnetically tiltable design, the sensor can be flexibly mounted on walls, ceilings, or furniture. The reaction time for motion detection is under one second, enabling quick automations. The configuration is done directly via the Matter platform of your choice, without the detour through cloud services. A CR2450 button cell ensures a runtime of several months.
