M5Stack Chain Dual Key with ESP32-S3

The M5Stack Chain Dual Key is a programmable development board with two mechanical buttons, powered by the powerful ESP32-S3FN8 dual-core microcontroller. On the front, there are two interchangeable mechanical button switches (blue switches) as well as two programmable RGB LEDs that provide excellent tactile and visual feedback. An integrated lithium-ion battery with a 350 mAh capacity and a power-saving design ensure a long runtime. The Chain Dual Key comes with pre-installed macro keyboard firmware, supports USB and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) connections, and can be used as an HID input device (e.g., as a keyboard). After being powered on, the device creates its own Wi-Fi hotspot. Through the integrated web interface, the button functions and HID mappings for the device itself and connected extension modules can be conveniently configured to enable a variety of control functions. As part of the M5Stack Chain series, the device has two HY2.0-4P expansion ports to connect additional sensors or modules. Additionally, the USB-OTG function of the ESP32-S3 enables direct connection of USB devices. Due to its versatile design, the device is ideal for smart home controls, macro keyboards, keyboard extensions, and many other application scenarios. Practical extras like LEGO-compatible mounting holes and a loop for a lanyard make it easy to integrate into everyday objects or for mobile use.
