M5Stack Chain Joystick STM32G031

The M5Stack Chain Joystick is a high-precision Hall effect joystick module from the M5Stack Chain series, which enables three-axis inputs (X/Y analog and Z as a digital button). The joystick operates contactlessly by detecting changes in the magnetic field, allowing for wear-free operation. This ensures high precision, reliability, and interference immunity, guaranteeing stable operation and long lifespan. Additionally, the module features a programmable RGB LED for status indication or visual effects. Inside, an STM32G031G8U6 microcontroller processes inputs and ensures reliable performance. Communication is handled via a UART-based cascading protocol. As a result, multiple modules from the Chain series can be connected in sequence. Two HY2.0-4P expansion interfaces allow for easy connection of additional Chain modules for system expansion. Thanks to the modular design of the Chain series, the joystick can be seamlessly integrated into various projects. It is therefore ideal for a variety of interactive applications and control tasks.
