Laser Distance Sensor UART 4-400cm

This laser rangefinder can be used to detect objects in a range from 4 to 400 cm with an accuracy of ±2 cm. Supported by three different measuring modes, it is well suited for various detection scenarios such as security gate detection, access control systems, security alarm systems, smart trash bins, intelligent cars or robots for obstacle avoidance. The sensor's black metal housing is equipped with a threaded tube and the probe has an optical cover. Thanks to its integrated design, the product is able to effectively filter optical interference and is waterproof and shock-resistant. The sensor uses an invisible laser and has a voltage regulator built into the module. The sensor is characterized by stable performance and a UART output, and has an alarm output line that is triggered when the measuring distance is less than the threshold set by the user.
