Gravity I2C SD2405 RTC Module

The Gravity I2C SD2405 RTC module from DFRobot is an accurate I2C real-time clock (RTC) with crystal compensation and an integrated rechargeable battery. The SD2405AL module has a dual power supply system. When the primary power supply drops to a certain value or is resumed at low power, the system can automatically switch between primary power supply and battery. If there is no external power supply, the RTC clock can still run for 5 to 8 years as the module has a low power consumption of only 1uA. The SD2405AL module can generate various periodic interrupts that last for a long period (one year), and up to three alarm interrupts can be programmed by year, month, date, weekdays, hours, and minutes, seconds. The module also provides an adjustable 1Hz to 32.768kHz clock output, which can be used for an external MCU. The product has a time adjustment circuit that sets the clock with higher precision by adjusting all errors in the quartz oscillator frequencies based on the CPU signals. A 12-byte SRAM is implemented in the SD2405AL. Gravity SD2405 RTC can be used as a data logger, timer alarm, and other time applications. It is an ideal choice for timing projects or other Arduino projects where you need an exact time. 

Info: You can reverse the connection cable by plugging in a Dupont cable M-M 10cm to male. This way you can also use it on an Arduino UNO.
