RTC DS3231 Time Module with AT24C32 EEPROM Memory 32K

The DS3231 module is an accurate I2C real-time clock (RTC), with an integrated Temperature- Quartz Oscillator and Crystal. The module must be operated with a rechargeable Buffer Battery (LIR2032 also available in our shop) to ensure that the time is preserved in the event of a power cut. If you want to operate the clock with a cheaper CR2032 button cell battery, you must remove the resistor (201), on the right side above the SCL label. The date is automatically adjusted, including corrections for leap years. The module provides two configurable alarms and a calendar. Address and data are transferred bidirectionally over an IIC or I2C bus. The module has a very accurate digital temperature sensor integrated, which can be queried via an I2C interface.
