RTC Unit HYM8563 Real Time Clock

The RTC UNIT from M5Stack is a programmable real-time clock module with an integrated HYM8563 low-power CMOS real-time clock, with an I2C communication interface. The RTC is housed in a sturdy plastic case, as is typical for M5Stack. Most MCUs have built-in timers, which are usually activated automatically when the hardware is turned on and reset when it is turned off. The built-in timer can handle some simple timing tasks. If you want to implement the recording of timestamps, the clock, the alarm clock, and other time functions, a system independent RTC is the best choice. The RTC Unit also features an internal buffer battery. This prevents time loss during power outages.
