The CryoGrip Pro Glacier pressure plate from BIQU is a double-sided spring steel plate with a smooth surface, designed for high adhesion with technical materials and reliable print quality on Bambu printers of the A1, P1, and X1 series. The Glacier coating provides uniform adhesion over the entire surface and is particularly suitable for demanding materials such as PA or ABS. For PLA and PETG, the surface provides good adhesion values, though it remains slightly less aggressive than the Frostbite variant. The recommended bed temperatures are 45–55 °C for PLA and 60–75 °C for PETG, allowing for stable first layers. The plate is compatible with all materials whose nozzle temperatures are below 300 °C. Thanks to flexible spring steel, models can be easily released by bending the plate after cooling. The smooth structure creates clean undersides and is ideal for components with clear surface contours. Regular cleaning with water and soap or alcohol ensures consistent adhesion values. For small models or materials with a small contact area, the use of a brim can be useful.
