The CryoGrip Pro Frostbite print plate by BIQU is a double-sided spring steel plate with a rough microstructure designed for maximum adhesion with PLA and PETG. The surface offers very strong first layer adhesion and prevents warping even with small or low surface area components. As a dedicated plate for PLA and PETG, it is ideally suited for printers of the Bambu A1, P1, and X1 series. The Frostbite surface requires little to no bed heating with PLA and PETG, allowing power consumption to be reduced by up to 50% compared to conventional print plates. The matte structure ensures a robust first layer and a uniform layer image. High-temperature technical materials like ABS, ASA, or PA are not compatible as they may damage the microstructure. Clean only with water and soap, do not use alcohol! : The recommended bed temperatures are 30–50 °C for PLA and 50–70 °C for PETG. Thanks to the flexible spring steel material, completed prints can be easily removed after cooling by bending the plate. The Frostbite surface is particularly suitable for users who predominantly process PLA and PETG and desire very high adhesion strength.
