180×180mm Frostbite Build Plate for Bambu A1 mini

The CryoGrip Pro Frostbite build plate by BIQU is a double-sided spring steel plate with a rough microstructure, designed for maximum adhesion with PLA and PETG on the Bambu A1 Mini. The Frostbite surface offers very strong first-layer adhesion and prevents warping even with small models or areas with limited contact. It is a dedicated build plate exclusively for PLA and PETG and not compatible with technical materials, as they can permanently damage the microstructure. Clean with water and soap only, do not use alcohol! The recommended bed temperatures are 30–50 °C for PLA and 50–70 °C for PETG, allowing particularly good adhesion even at low temperatures. Because the Frostbite surface requires little or no bed heating for PLA and PETG, power consumption can be reduced by up to 50% compared to conventional build plates. The matte underside offers a robust and uniform structure. Printed models can be removed by bending the flexible spring steel plate after cooling. For open printers, typically operated with PLA and PETG, the Frostbite surface is ideally suited. Cleaning is done exclusively with water and soap to avoid damaging the microstructure.
