The original Arduino Mega 2560 is a microcontroller board equipped with an ATmega2560. It features 54 digital input and output pins, 16 analog inputs, 4 serial hardware ports (UART), a 16 MHz quartz oscillator, a USB connection, power connection, reset button, and other functions. It can either be connected to a computer via a USB cable or powered by connecting it to an AC/DC adapter or a battery. Furthermore, it supports most shields developed for the Arduino Uno and earlier models.
