Arduino Ethernet Shield Rev2
With the Arduino Ethernet Shield, you can connect your Arduino board to the internet in minutes. Simply plug this module onto your Arduino board, connect it to your network with an RJ45 cable (not included), and follow a few simple steps to begin controlling your surroundings over the internet. The Shield is based on the Wiznet W5500 Ethernet chip, which supports both TCP and UDP protocols and allows up to eight simultaneous socket connections. Thanks to the integrated micro SD card slot, you can store and retrieve files on the network. It is compatible with all Arduino boards and allows you to quickly and easily develop network applications.
Features:
- Simple internet connection: The Shield allows quick connection of your Arduino board to the internet via an RJ45 cable.
- Wiznet W5500 Ethernet chip: Provides support for TCP and UDP protocols and allows up to eight simultaneous socket connections.
- Micro SD card slot: Includes a Micro SD card slot to store and retrieve files on the network.
- Compatibility: Compatible with all Arduino boards and supports the use of the Arduino Ethernet Library.
- Powerful network control: Allows both server and client functions, so your Arduino board can initiate and receive connections.
- Stable power supply: Supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), which allows a stable power supply over the Ethernet cable.
- Reset controller: Integrated reset controller ensures that the Ethernet module is properly reset when powered on.
- TinkerKit compatible: Includes TinkerKit connectors to easily connect additional modules.
- LED indicators: Multiple LEDs indicate operating status, network connection, and data transfer.
Application examples:
- Home automation: Control lighting, heating, and other devices over the internet.
- Webserver: Create a webserver to collect and present data.
- Remote monitoring: Monitor sensors and devices remotely.
- IoT projects: Develop projects in the field of Internet of Things (IoT) with network connectivity.
- Datalogger: Store sensor data on a Micro SD card and retrieve it over the network.
