WisMesh Board ONE Meshtastic Board 868 MHz with GNSS and OLED

The WisMesh Board ONE is a modular building block for the Meshtastic network, allowing the creation of individual LoRa nodes for the European and Asian 8XX MHz frequency range (EU868/RU864/IN865). It is based on the RAK4631 module with Nordic nRF52840 microcontroller (32-bit ARM Cortex-M4F @ 64 MHz, 1 MB Flash, 256 KB RAM) and the Semtech SX1262 LoRa transceiver, which ensures reliable mesh communication. An optional GNSS sensor is used for location determination, which is placed in a separate WisBlock slot and provides precise GPS data. The package also includes a 1.3-inch OLED display, which is supplied loose and can be mounted or soldered if needed; it improves readability compared to previous solutions and is aligned parallel to the board. Thanks to the external LoRa antenna connection (I-PEX) and the integrated BLE antenna, the board can be flexibly combined with different housings and antennas. A USB-C interface is used for programming and power supply; alternatively, a battery or solar panel can be connected, whereby the board has improved battery management with NTC monitoring. Red, blue, and green LEDs indicate charging status, new messages, and microcontroller activity, and a user button simplifies switching the board on or making adjustments. The unpopulated development board measures 60.8 × 22.9 × 36.0 mm (including loose OLED) and weighs 86 g, making it easy to integrate into portable projects. The pre-installed Meshtastic firmware allows immediate use with the Meshtastic apps for Android, iOS, or web; firmware updates and DFU mode can be conveniently performed via the USB-C port. The free sensor slot allows the board to be expanded with additional WisBlock modules, for example, for environmental sensing or acceleration measurement, to create individual off-grid communication solutions.
