WisBlock Core RAK11162 ESP32-C2 with EU868 LoRaWAN / WiFi/ BLE

The WisBlock LPWAN Module RAK11162 is a powerful and future-proof core module for the WisBlock ecosystem, combining LoRaWAN, WiFi, and Bluetooth 5 in a single, compact component. It features a dual-MCU architecture consisting of an STM32WLE5 for LoRa/LoRaWAN (compliant with LoRaWAN 1.0.4) and an Espressif ESP8684 (ESP32-C2 architecture) for WiFi and BLE 5. Both microcontrollers can be conveniently controlled via AT commands, simplifying integration into existing systems. The STM32WLE5 provides the basis for energy-efficient LoRaWAN communication, while the ESP8684 provides a reliable connection over 2.4 GHz WiFi and Bluetooth. With global frequency support of 860-930 MHz, the module is suitable for applications in almost all LoRaWAN regions. The compatibility with RUI3 also allows the development of custom firmware. The module is designed for use in smart city, agriculture, industrial environments, and other IoT solutions that require long-range, low power consumption, and easy wireless updates.
