WisBlock RAK12010 Ambient Light Sensor

The RAK12010 is a WisBlock sensor that enhances the WisBlock system with the ability to detect ambient light. It uses the VEML7700 chip from Vishay Semiconductors with an I2C interface, making it easy to build a system for capturing ambient light. The VEML7700 sensor is suitable for applications in automation technology, lighting control, environmental monitoring, and many other areas where brightness measurement is required. The WisBlock ecosystem by RAK Wireless offers compact and modular solutions to create your IoT-LoRaWAN nodes. Different CPUs, sensor, and IO expansion modules can be installed on a WisBlock base board. Unlike conventional connectors, the modules are screwed onto the base board, ensuring a secure and reliable mount with industrial quality. Thanks to the modular and compact design, WisBlock is especially suitable for prototype applications in the professional or hobby area.
