WisBlock RAK12010 Ambient Light Sensor

The RAK12010 is a WisBlock sensor that extends the WisBlock system with the ability to sense ambient light. It uses the VEML7700 chip from Vishay Semiconductors with an I2C interface, making it easy to build a system for ambient light sensing. The VEML7700 sensor is suitable for applications in automation technology, lighting control, environmental monitoring, and many other areas where brightness measurement is required. The WisBlock ecosystem from RAK Wireless offers compact and modular solutions to create your own IoT LoRaWAN nodes. Various CPU, sensor, and IO extension modules can be mounted on a WisBlock Base Board. Unlike conventional plug connections, the modules are fixed with screws on the base board, creating a secure and reliable attachment with industrial quality. Thanks to its modular and compact design, WisBlock is particularly suitable for applications in professional or hobby prototype development.
