WisBlock RAK19007 Base Board 2nd Gen

This is the second generation of the WisBlock Base Board by RAK Wireless. Compared to the RAK5005-O, it has some improvements: USB-C port; GNSS modules can be used without blocking another sensor slot; and an improved voltage regulator. The WisBlock Base Board can accommodate up to four WisBlock Sensor Modules, as well as a CPU module and an IO expansion module. The modules are mounted to the board using an M2 screw. The WisBlock Base Board supports three different power supplies as standard. Depending on the application, you can choose between 5V USB, 3.7V LiPo batteries and 5V solar panels, or a combination. The WisBlock Base Board enables low-power applications by having the ability to switch the power supply for the WisBlock Sensor and another WisBlock category with slots on and off. The WisBlock ecosystem from RAK Wireless offers compact and modular solutions to create your own IoT-LoRaWAN nodes. Various CPU, sensor, and IO expansion modules can be mounted on a WisBlock Base Board. Unlike conventional plug connections, the modules are screwed onto the base board. This creates a reliable industrial-grade attachment. Thanks to its modular and compact design, WisBlock is particularly suitable for applications in the prototyping of professional or hobby areas.
