Ultrasonic 9-in-1 RS485 Weather Station Sensor for Arduino

This RS485 weather station sensor combines nine measurement functions in a compact housing and is suitable for demanding environmental monitoring with Arduino compatibility. The ultrasonic technology measures wind speed and direction without moving parts, which reduces wear and allows for high long-term stability. Additionally, the sensor detects temperature, relative humidity, atmospheric pressure, light intensity, noise level as well as PM2.5 and PM10 particles. Thanks to the wide power supply range of 10 to 30 V DC and the low operating current of less than 10 mA, the device can be integrated into various installations. Communication occurs via an RS485 interface with Modbus-RTU protocol, enabling reliable operation over long distances. The UV-resistant and waterproof ABS housing meets protection class IP54 and protects the electronics from weather influences. The measurement ranges cover 0 to 40 m/s for wind, 0 to 359° for direction, 0 to 99% relative humidity, -40 to 80 °C, and 0 to 120 kPa. Light intensity up to 200,000 lux, noise level from 30 to 120 dB, and particulate matter concentrations up to 1000 µg/m³ for PM2.5 and PM10 are also recorded. Response times are one to two seconds for most parameters, while PM2.5 and PM10 are updated within 90 seconds. Due to the weatherproof design and complete measurement spectrum, the sensor is suitable for long-term use in environmental technology, agriculture, and smart city applications.
