SE01-LB LoRaWAN Soil Moisture / EC Sensor Node 868MHz
The Dragino SE01-LB is a LoRaWAN soil moisture and EC sensor for IoT data collection in agriculture. It captures soil moisture, soil temperature, and soil conductivity and uploads the measurement data wirelessly via LoRaWAN to the desired server. The soil sensor uses the FDR method (Frequency-Domain Reflectometry) to calculate soil moisture with compensation from soil temperature and conductivity. The SE01 soil moisture sensor is calibrated at the factory. This robust sensor node, packaged in a weatherproof case, is ideal for outdoor use and is powered by an 8500mA Li/SOCl2 battery, ensuring a long operating time. The SE01-LB not only serves as a simple sensor node, but is specifically designed to facilitate the rapid implementation of industrial LoRa and IoT applications. The wireless part of the node is based on the SX1262, which allows data transmission over very long distances at low data rates. This ensures an exceptionally wide range, high noise immunity, and optimizes power consumption. Equipped with a powerful 48 MHz ARM microcontroller, 256KB flash, and 64KB RAM, the SE01-LB is ready for all kinds of projects. The SE01-LB has an integrated BLE module that allows convenient configuration of the sensor from your mobile phone. It also supports OTA updates via a private LoRa protocol, significantly simplifying maintenance. This sensor node is the third generation of the popular LSE01 from Dragino and offers a mature LoRaWAN stack and application software. You can use the pre-installed software for your IoT projects or flexibly adapt the software to different requirements.
Each sensor is preloaded with a set of unique keys for LoRaWAN registrations. These keys are registered on the local LoRaWAN server and the sensor automatically connects after turning on, when network coverage is available.
