Rain sensor module with Analog / Digital output

This rain sensor reacts to raindrops or snow, which change the resistance of the sensor plate. The analog output lets an Arduino estimate how much water is on the plate. The digital output switches at a threshold set with the potentiometer.

Features:

• AO: the voltage falls the more water is on the plate
• DO: goes LOW as soon as the wetness exceeds the set threshold, otherwise HIGH
• The status LED lights up when DO is LOW
• The analog values change with the operating voltage
• Continuous power accelerates corrosion of the plate: if possible, switch the module on only for the measurement, for example via a digital pin
