Humidity sensor / Soil moisture sensor module

With this soil moisture sensor, you can easily measure the moisture of plants and detect when the plant needs watering. The sensor is composed of two parts that need to be connected using the two provided jumper cables. The measurement probe is inserted into the soil and measures the soil's resistance, which changes with the moisture level. The evaluation module generates an analog value for the Arduino, as well as a digital signal, the threshold of which can be set via the potentiometer on the module. You can find a programming example for reading an analog sensor in the Arduino IDE under Examples/Analog/AnalogInput.
