PolyLite PLA-LW White Lightweight 1.75mm 0.8Kg Polymaker

PolyLite LW-PLA from Polymaker is a pre-foamed PLA filament with about 30% lower density than standard PLA, which can be processed with almost identical printing settings as regular PLA. Unlike actively foaming LW-PLA filaments, which only foam at very high temperatures (~250 °C) and cause significant stringing and blobs, PolyLite LW-PLA is already pre-foamed in the manufacturing process (Stabilized Foaming™ technology). It does not foam again when printing and does not require adjustment of extrusion temperature.

Note: LW-PLA is susceptible to stringing – careful retractions and temperature setting is recommended. Dry before printing if cracking/popping noise is heard during extrusion.

Properties:

• Pre-foamed via Stabilized Foaming™ technology – approximately 30% lower density than standard PLA without temperature adjustment during printing
• Passive foaming: No foaming during extrusion – standard PLA settings (190–210 °C) can be used with only slightly increased retraction

• High stiffness despite low density – construction parts maintain their shape and dimensional stability
• Prints on any FDM printer without enclosure; AMS compatible with redesigned spool edges
