M5Stack ESP32 PSRAM Timer Camera X (OV3660)

The Timer Camera X from M5Stack is a camera module based on the ESP32 with 8M-PSRAM memory. The OV3660 camera with 3 million pixels and a FOV of 66.5° can take pictures with a resolution of 2048x1536 pixels. The Timer Camera X has a built-in 140mAh battery and an LED status indicator and has a very low power consumption. Underneath the LED is a reset button. With the RTC (BM8563), a time-controlled sleep and wake-up can be realized. The standby power is only 2μA. After turning on the timing photo capture function (one photo per hour), the camera can work continuously for more than a month via the battery. The module supports WiFi image transmission and USB port debugging. The lower HY2.0-4P port output can be connected to other peripheral devices.

The power saving management solution used by Timer Camera X differs from those of the CORE and StickC devices. In operation, the PWR button is used as the power button (press for 2s). If you want to turn off the Timer Camera X, you have to use the software API or press the reset button on the back.
