M5Stack Chain Encoder Rotary Encoder with STM32G031 and Button Function
The M5Stack Chain Encoder is a rotary encoder input module from the Chain series with an integrated STM32G031G8U6 microcontroller. The AB rotary encoder detects rotation direction and pulse counting and also features a button function by pressing the knob. A programmable RGB LED (WS2812B) allows for status displays and interactive feedback. The cap of the encoder features building block-compatible mounting holes for creative structural connections. The module communicates via a UART serial cascading protocol at 115200 bps and can be connected to other Chain devices through two HY2.0-4P expansion interfaces. The included Chain Bridge Connector enables easy integration into existing Chain systems. With a power consumption of 22.51 mA with the RGB LED activated and an operating temperature of 0 to 40°C, the Chain Encoder is suitable for human-machine interaction and smart home controls.
