LMDS200 LoRaWAN Microwave Radar Distance Sensor 868MHz

The LMDS200 is an 868MHz waterproof LoRaWAN sensor node, with a microwave radar distance sensor. The sensor uses 24Ghz microwaves to measure the distance between objects. Compared to ultrasound or lidar, the advantage of this method lies in reliability. Even in very dusty or moist conditions, the microwave sensor provides reliable and accurate measurement data.  The LMDS200 is powered by an 8500 mA Li-SOCI2 battery and is thus designed for long-term use of up to 5 years (for precise runtime information refer to the documentation). The LoRa part of the module is based on the SX1276, which allows the user to send data over very long distances at low data rates. It offers broadband spread communication and high interference resistance with minimal power consumption. Each LMDS200 is pre-loaded with a set of unique keys for LoRaWAN registrations. These keys are registered on the local LoRaWAN server and the LMDS200 automatically connects when power is turned on, if network coverage is available.
