Mini USB UART FTDI Programmer 3.3/5V USB Serial
This Breakout Board FTDI is equipped with a FT232RL chip that allows USB to Serial communication. You don't need this programming adapter for an Arduino Uno. However, if you have an ESP8266, Sonoff or Arduino ProMini, you need this board for programming. There is a jumper on the board that allows you to easily switch between 3.3V or 5V logic. On this board, the DTR is led out instead of the RTS pin. This allows the micro controller to be automatically reset after uploading a program.
