LSN50 V2 Waterproof LoRa Sensor Node 868MHz

The LSN50 V2 LoRa module is a 868 Mhz long range LoRa sensor node in a waterproof housing for outdoor use. The version also features an external 868 MHz antenna for improved lora reception. The module is specifically designed for outdoor use and is powered by Li / SOCl2 batteries for long-term use. The LSN50 was developed to help developers quickly deploy industrial-level LoRa and IoT solutions. It is easy to program and easy to connect it with other devices. The wireless part of the module is based on the SX1276 / SX1278, which allows the user to send data over very long distances at low data rates. It offers broadband spread communication and high interference resistance with minimal power consumption. Areas of application are sensor network applications such as irrigation systems, smart metering, smart cities, smartphone detection, building automation, temperature measurements, water level measurements, etc.

The MCU part of the module uses an STM32l0x chip from ST. This offers USB 2.0 with a high-performance ARM® Cortex®-M0+ 32-bit RISC Core which is clocked at 32Mhz, a Memory Protection Unit (MPU), high-speed embedded memory (192 Kbytes flash program memory, 6 Kbytes EEPROM and 20 Kbytes RAM) and a wide range of advanced I/Os and peripherals.

The Dragion IoT module with LoRa® technology is an open-source product. It is based on the STM32Cube HAL drivers. With customer application examples, the user can program the IoT module via USART1, USART2 or STLINK. The factory firmware supports the LoRaWAN 1.0.2 specification and the user can use the AT command to set it up and use it directly for their own project.
