CCS811+BME280 CO2 Air Quality Environmental Sensor

This CCS811 Air Quality Sensor from DFRobot can measure the density of eCO2 (CO2 equivalent) and TVOC (Total Volatile Organic Compounds). In addition, a BME280 sensor is present on the board, with which you can measure temperature, air pressure, and humidity. It can be used in many applications such as air quality detection, air purifiers, ventilation systems, etc. This CCS811 Air Quality Sensor uses the unique micro-hot-plate technology from AMS. Compared to conventional gas sensors, the heating wire has lower power consumption, heats up faster, and is smaller. A small MCU is built into the board for evaluation, where you can easily read out the measured data via I2C. The CCS811 supports a concentration alarm, which is triggered when the concentration exceeds the threshold set by the user. The CCS811 air quality sensor supports several operating modes, such as the 5 types of measurements: every second, every 10s, every minute, every 250ms and a sleep mode. These modes are optimized for low power consumption during sensor measurement, so the CCS811 is also suitable for portable battery-powered applications.

NOTE: The chip has a special I2C clock. Therefore, it is not compatible with some controllers, such as Raspberry Pi.

Due to chip shortage, the CCS811 chip is temporarily replaced by a ScioSense ENS160. (This is important for ESPHome, as the ENS160 is not yet supported.)
